Days at Negombo, Sri Lanka.

It was a beautiful weekend with a mood to travel where we decided to spend the time at a lavish, ensuring and home like hotel in Sri Lanka for a small reunited girls escape at Deluxe rooms just facing the beautiful blend of sea and garden view at Jetwing Blue, Negombo.

 

It was our second visit there where we were confident about the experience going to be cherish-able. The staff was amazing as always. Their faces dressed with a charm smile, soft spoken and really tried to attend to our needs of a vacation. They always greet you for a long life saying “Ayubowan” -the traditional Sinhalese way of welcoming someone with care and respect.

 

There are few things I cherish about Jetwing Blue out of the things I admire. One such thing is their pool with the benches in the shades of cloth tents where it is such a solid place to read a book, to have a chit chat with your loved ones, to take colorful selfies, to have a comfortable seating while your kids enjoy swimming or to gaze at the sunset. I suggest you to take a late evening swim where you can enjoy it beneath the sun above to set at the purple sky. It is such a good place and time to share your life and plans with a friend at heart.

When it comes to hotels there is one thing we all love about and that is FOOD!!! Jetwing Blue offers ala carte  menu on weekdays and an international and Sri Lankan Buffet on the weekends. There are cuisines that matches every taste buds either you prefer it hot-savor- sweet -healthy or fantasy meals. I love the barbecue on Saturday night and the Sunday lunch buffet where it offers a wide variety of meals enriched with a balanced mix of flavors and organic ingredients where its taste will remain in your heart forever.

As I am a chocoholic girl I am always crazy of their Sunday breakfast where it offers pastry corner filled with chocolate sauces, syrups and spreads and many more. Their choco chip mini sponge cakes, donuts and chocolate pastries are something that nobody can resist as it tastes so good. Their waffles with dark chocolate spread with hazel nuts on top with a sprinkle of icing sugar just which is custom made was heavenly!!!!!

Negombo is such a lovely area to have a walk on the streets at night, you can take a beer while on the way at mini bars on street and safely return to your hotel room for a comfortable sleep with extra pillows on request.

 

Let me suggest another good idea for you. If you are a cinema lover, just request a decorated bath tub with rose petals, you can find wine or champagne at your mini bar, sit back, relax and enjoy one of your favorite film while enjoying your drink. Trust me it will be a soothing self spa to release your stress levels..

 

In a nutshell it is a place that can let your hair down and enjoy your stay to gear up the week ahead with a mind loaded with beautiful memories. So when on next time plan your stay at  Jetwing Blue, Negombo where I assure it will be a nice experience for all in all.
